Looking For Truth

                                                       BismillahirRahmanirRahim

Very few they are really looking for truth. Majority they are looking to confirm what they hold to be truth. Very few they are looking for truth. If you are looking for truth, you first have to say, ‘whatever I have it is untrue. I don’t have truth. I want to look for truth.’ If you already have truth, why are you looking for truth? But majority they are not looking for truth. They are looking to confirm what they already know to be true. And what does the majority know to be true? What are they being busy with these days? What are they being  busy with these days? Justice?

Let’s see how the direction of this ummat is. The direction of the ummat will go according to the heads. Where the heads are leading, the body is going to follow, although they are telling, fooling us, ‘no, no, no, no, we listen to the body. What the body wants, the head will obey.’ No. How the head is moving, the body is moving.

The world, is it looking for truth? This is the wastage of philosphers, ‘oh what is truth?’  You believe in a Creator, that One created truth. It’s not you, it’s not me. It is what that Creator who created the truth is, what is true. So the majority, are they going to see what the Creator holds to be true? Whole world is moving towards that? No, they are not. So what are they finding out? What are they running after, majority? What are they a running after? Comfort? Comfort is one roof, one pair of clothes, one dry bread. That is comfort. What are they looking for? Luxury. What kind of luxury? Not even the Firauns they have that kind of luxury. Now 21st century mankind,  they have,  at the time of Firaun there was no, you just move your finger like this and lights come out. There was no, you just press the button and water comes. These days, everybody watching movies, they like that, they come in, voice command to say, ‘hello,’ and suddenly the house all light up, everything running like that. Meaning, not living like a servant. Living like a Lord. ‘Anna rabbul ala – I am the highest Lord, I want to live like that.’ Tell me one country that says don’t live like that. Tell me one government that says to the people, ‘you cannot live like that.’

Muslims and non-Muslims, everyone is chasing to say, ‘you see, the movie is showing that. America has the highest lifestyle. We have to have that.’ Whole world is running towards that. So they are not running for truth, because if they are running for truth, every faith, tradition, everyone, doesn’t matter what religion you follow, every say religion that you follow is saying that dunya is true or untrue? Judaism is teaching this dunya is true? I don’t know. They believe in heaven and hell? I don’t know. Christianity, at least let’s look at Christian now, they believe this world it is true? No. Aiming towards Ahiret. Correct? Other kinds, they are saying this is true? No. Every religion especially from the east they are saying this is just illusion and delusion. Correct? Chinese or Hindu or this, illusion. What is Islam saying? What does Allah say? They are hiding those Ayats. They are hiding those Ayats. Quran is disappearing because those Ayats are hidden where Allah is saying what? “this world it is but a game….This world it’s amusement…..This world it’s tricking you.” So many Ayats coming. Every Prophet that comes is telling the people to aim for this dunya or to aim for Ahiret? 124 000 Prophets, name me one that says, ‘forget about the Ahiret, concentrate on the dunya.’ Never. Even those Prophets that were Prophet and Kings, they say, ‘concentrate on Ahiret.’

So we lost the compass. Compass, we don’t know where to go. You understand? We lost the compass. Like what Sheykh Effendi is saying,  dajjal, sheytan they have changed the direction, the road signs. Before, twenty-four hours, this is the way to Jahannam, this is the way to Jannat, very clear. Very clear, you do this it leads you to Jannat, you do this it leads you to Jahannam. Now, not so clear. Who’s saying it’s no so clear? So many Muslims scholars are saying it’s not so clear. ‘how you know he’s going to Jahannam? Don’t judge brother.’ ‘What’s he doing? He’s doing all haram things. Don’t judge. You don’t know. Allah loves him.’ Of course Allah loves him. If Allah doesn’t love, He is not going to give even one breath of air. But does Allah love that action or not? This is something that is very clear.

So majority they are not looking for truth. Because in order to look for truth, you first have to say, whatever it is that I’m believing, whatever it is how I’m living, everything, this is not leading to truth. This is untrue. Now I have to go run after what is true. And the truth it is  not something that is there, stuck. It is endless. The truth, it is endless. If you steal from someone, it is wrong, correct? It is true. But you cannot be stuck there.  ‘How Hoja is saying this? That means he’s saying you can steal and it’s okay?’ No, not for you. Not for us. You stole something, it is haram. It is forbidden. But there are some situation, you steal and it is allowed. Now, the reason why you steal, that is not for ego. If it is for ego, it is not allow. If it is not for ego, if it’s not for your dunya, if it’s not for your desire, it is something else, it is allowed. It’s not for you or for me to decide. No. I’m not saying, now, ‘oh if you just do something, what you consider not your ego, it is okay.’ To steal it is wrong. The way that hz Musa is saying, ‘you cannot steal the boat.’ But hz Khizr, stole the boat and he destroyed the boat that he stole. Correct or no? And Hz Khizr is saying to Hz Musa, ‘you don’t have the patience to learn from me. Although you are send by the Lord, I’m looking at you, you don’t have that patience because your idea of truth it is stuck that, but He has sent me for you to open up what is that truth.’ You know the story. To kill a man, it is forbidden. Certain other situation in that story, fixing the wall.  Now, what is Khizr? Is Khizr doing everything by himself? Is he doing it because to help his family? For his desire? For his ego? For his dunya? No. He is saying in that ayat, what is he saying? ‘I am guided. I am guided. Something else is guiding me.  Forcing me to do. It’s not me.’ This is the ayat that is there.

So, now to look for the truth, you have to be guided. If there is no guidance in order for you to look for the truth, everyone is saying everything is true, how do you know which one is right, which one is correct, which one is not? Now it comes to your own sincerity. If you understand what you are looking for, if you understand what you have, it is not true. You are not looking for something that already confirms. You need to look for something that is going to challenge you. You are going to look at something that is going to challenge you. That is going to open up. Majority they have time to be challenged these days? No. Just to feel this up (the stomach), that’s it and to fill up the toilet.

So you are asking me that question, what is making majority of people to get tricked? If you are looking for the truth, can you get tricked? You cannot. Because Allah is going to guide you. If you are sincere, if you are not looking to fulfill just your ego, Allah  is going to guide you. For sometime maybe you are going to go under a wrong one, but if you are sincere, Allah will replace that one with the right one too.

What is allowing them to be tricked? Because they are not looking for the truth. They are looking to enjoy this world. Enjoying this world. Not just enjoying this world, but to be drunk in this world. To be drunk, never to wake up. Now, if someone who is drunk, meaning, someone who is drugged, someone who is blind, how is any help going to reach to him? How is any help going to reach to him unless he gets out from that drunken station. Unless he opens his eyes and he stops being blind. Meaning, he has too, you and me, we have to decide, enough is enough, we want to change.  If you don’t want to change, nobody can change you. No one. There is no compulsion in religion. Meaning, that if Allah wanted to force people to change, He would have. But He didn’t. Because we have been created not like animals, with no thinking. We have been created to be like Angels and higher than Angels, and thinking. So Allah wants us to think. He wants us to think.

One time Hz Umar was walking in the marketplace and he saw this man, he was making a dua and he was crying. He was making a dua and he was crying. And he says, ‘Ya Rabbi, make me to be from the very few. Make me to be from the very few.’ And Hz Umar says, ‘where did you learn your dua from?’ This is important now. Hz Umar is asking, where you learn from, the dua? You see how it was? People were not just making up their own duas.Because you may ask for the wrong things. Ohh, everyone is saying, ‘oh please, I need to get married. Please I need a better job.’ They  are making their own. But you don’t know, maybe it is good that you don’t get. So Hz Umar is saying, ‘where did you learn from, this? Asking to be the very few.’ And he says, ‘it’s from the Quran. Because Allah says,  Only the very few are grateful. Most are not grateful. Most, they are not giving thanks. Most, are disobedient. Most, do not think. Very few.’ It was true then, it’s true now. And these are the few that Allah is saying, ‘These are My chosen ones. I choose them for Me. Because they are not satisfied with anything that I gave them except for Me. And these ones, with their sincerity, even when the whole world is against them, even when the whole being, their thinking, their attitude, their body, their ego is screaming, ‘No, I must get it!’ They say, ‘No.’ They are thinking. And they want to reach to their Lord. They are few. It was few then, it’s definitely fewer now. Because most are disobedient, knowing that there is a Creator, but they got drunk and they are sleeping, and they forget. They forget.

Be with those who are going to remind you. Don’t be with those who are going to remind you of your goodness. It’s not going to help you. It’s only going to boost your ego. Be with those who are going to remind you of your ego, remind you of your mistakes, remind you of the tricks and the traps of sheytan. That one that is reminding you, he is not putting himself apart from what he’s speaking. With that, you are going to wake up. Majority, they don’t want to. When the heart is not reminded of Allah, what happens to it? It dies. You think that heart that dies to Allah is going to be alive to mankind? No. It’s going to be very alive to only the desires, only the ego and to sheytan and to your nafs. It’s  going to be dead to everything else. May Allah keep our hearts alive, Insya’Allah. Al-fatiha. Amin. SelamAleykum.
